How much faith do you have in the PDA these days? Well Asus still beleives that PDA still have their niche market... Asus recently anounced its latest PDA A626. Beyond being lightweight and really thin (five-eighths of an inch, .62" thick, 4.61" x 2.79"), the A626 runs Windows Mobile 5.0 and has built-in Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity so you never miss an important e-mail. This 128MB A626 features an Intel XScale 312Mhz processor, and 64MB SDRAM. The shiny device also supports a variety of media formats and Pocket PC games making this one heck of a traveling entertainment center.
This device features the Asus "Remote Presenter" application that allows you to remotely link and control presentations on a computer via Bluetooth. You'll also get a 3.5" anti-glare touch screen, integrated microphone and speakers, and full duplex recording and playback, all in a 5.57 oz (with 1200mAh rechargeable battery) unit. No word on price or availability at this time.
